SERVICES

Our conference interpreting services

There are different types of language interpretation. We will be more than happy to explain what options you have available and support you to choose the one that best fits your needs.

We can also help with other areas to make communication at your international or multilingual event a success.

In-person simultaneous interpretation

As they listen, interpreters render the speaker’s words into another language at the same time. Simultaneous interpretation is an agile, effective solution. If done at an in-person event, it requires setting up booths and technical equipment, but it can also be offered in virtual or remote formats. It is ideal for conferences, lectures, seminars, and business meetings, and it is especially recommended when working with several languages for a large audience.

Remote simultaneous interpretation (RSI)

In recent times, we have witnessed a boom in online meeting formats. Increasingly often, companies meet by videoconference or hold their events and conventions in hybrid formats or exclusively online, without requiring a physical space for interpreters on site. At Interidea, we bring years of experience working with videoconferencing platforms compatible with the use of professional human interpreters. If your event format is hybrid or online, we also have a solution for you.

Dos personas hablan

Consecutive and liaison interpretation

This is a practical solution for press conferences, interviews, guided tours, exhibitions, and other small-scale events. In consecutive interpretation, the speaker talks briefly (for about 3-5 minutes), after which the interpreter conveys the information in a reliable summary. To do so, they use a note-taking system and their memory. In liaison interpreting, the interpreter works in both directions (i.e., into both their native language and foreign language) to facilitate conversation between participants.

Traduccion en papel

Written translation

At Interidea, we can also help translate written documents as a complementary service to conference interpretation. Organizing events often goes hand in hand with preparing documents (e.g., contracts, informational brochures, PowerPoint presentations). We’ll take care of translating and revising your texts, always engaging professionals who are native speakers of the target language, with deep attention to detail to ensure a flawless result. All this, available in a wide range of languages. Ask us about it!

Sound equipment and booth rentals

Interpretation frequently requires sound equipment. This is the technical part of the communication process. Such equipment can include soundproof booths, paired with microphones, headphones, and receivers for the audience, as well as Infoport systems for on-the-move interpretation, wireless microphones, or headset microphones. At Interidea, we provide the necessary technical equipment for your event, with in-person technical assistance as well as transport, assembly, and disassembly services included.

Live captioning or subtitling

Inclusivity is an increasingly important aspect of events, and the live captioning or subtitling service is a perfect option for your message to reach a wider, more diverse, and inclusive audience. We have a team of specialists who can convert oral speech into captions or subtitles in real time. If the speech is in a foreign language, the subtitling team listens to the simultaneous interpretation to create the subtitles. A bundled service with teams that work together in perfect harmony.
